Lancaster Art Vault, located at 100 North Queen Street in Lancaster, PA, will feature the artwork of resident artist Melissa S. Zane from March 6-28, 2026. More details will be shared at the beginning of the new year.

Fuchsia, 36"x36" acrylic on canvas by Melissa S. Zane has been selected for VIVID: a Juried National Exhibition of Vibrant, Bold & Loud artworks at d'Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia. 

The d'Art Center received just under 800 submissions from 229 artists from 39 states. Just 66 works from 62 artists from 24 states were selected for the exhibition, and Melissa S. Zane is one of the artists chosen.

We’re thrilled to announce that Purple Crocus, 48"x48" acrylic on canvas, part of Melissa Zane’s Perspectives Series, was selected as a winner in the 6th Floral & Botanical Juried Art Contest hosted by Gallery 4 Percent. 

This large-scale acrylic on canvas features bold composition and textured layers that highlight the quiet power and early bloom of spring. Through vibrant color and expressive brushwork, Purple Crocus invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the resilience of the natural world.

We’re thrilled to share that Melissa S. Zane’s solo exhibition, Nature Magnified, was a resounding success!

Held at the Lancaster Art Vault from May 2–31, 2025, the show featured a vibrant collection of Melissa’s latest botanical and nature-inspired works. With rich textures, layered acrylics, and expressive details, each piece invited viewers to see the natural world in striking, magnified focus.

The exhibition drew art lovers, collectors, and nature enthusiasts from across the region, and we’re grateful for the support and thoughtful conversations shared throughout the month.
